The course/lessons of the first semester- second year(TRANSLATION)
1- word order or word class( parts of speech)
2- types of sentences
part of speech:
1- nouns
2- verbs
3- adverbs: describe how the verb happened (slowly, quickly)
4- adjectives; describe nouns
5-pronouns : Replace the the noun in the sentence, he, she.... him, her..... herself, myself
6- prepositions : at - on - under - to ..etc.
7- conjunction: but - and - in addition.. etc.
8- interjection: wow, ouch, gosh, ummm, oooh.
Kinds of noun
common nouns : words of people, places, animals..
proper nouns : nouns begin with a capital latter ( June, Yemen, Ramadan, Eiffel Tower)
singular nouns
plural nouns
collective nouns: words of group of people or animals or things(family, band, team, gang
masculine and feminine nouns : masculine means names of males and feminine means names of females
the possessive form of nouns: e.g
Tom's house
Ahmed's bed
countable & uncountable
counable: can be counted: ( book- books)
uncountable; can not be counted; ( sugar - flour)
